Why I started supplementing with a liquid multivitamin
I was dealing with too many sleepless nights and coffee-forward days. At one point, I was drinking 16-20 ounces of coffee, 2-3 times a day with an additional Dr. Pepper or 2. I was in desperate need of caffeine because I was a working mom and I needed to be alert from 9-5 and again from 5-9.

There were so many things to do and I needed to manipulate my body into staying awake and alert. The best solution at the time was drowning in coffee.

Until one day, a friend of mine suggested I take vitamins and add it to my daily routine. Now, over the years, I’ve heard mixed reviews on whether or not people who live a plant-based lifestyle get the necessary daily nutrients. Some people say we need to supplement certain vitamins. Others say we get those vitamins in the food we eat.

Honestly, I didn’t know if I ate what I needed because some days, what I ate was minimal. And by minimal, I mean french fries, ketchup and MAYBE steamed broccoli. Therefore, for convenience, I just decided to find a vitamin I could commit to taking daily.

Searching for vitamins was a journey! Some were just too big to swallow or too chalky to chew. Others were just plain gross. And some, I just enjoyed because they were gummies and tasted like I was eating candy.

After going through so many different types of vitamins and spending lots of money, I finally found one I consistently enjoyed, that gave me energy, drastically decreased my coffee intake and helped me sleep at night.

Reason #1: Taking a multivitamin closes the nutrient gaps

Regardless of your current diet, there may be nutrients you don’t get enough of daily. And if you’re like me, eating what I need each day can be a challenge. Not because I don’t like to eat but because some of the necessary foods are filling, like kale, which means I get full faster. And others, I just don’t like the texture, like raw tomatoes, so I avoid them. With a multivitamin, I can be confident I get the necessary daily vitamins and minerals needed to fuel my body whether I eat enough food or avoid the foods I don’t like.

Reason #2: We need Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is mostly found in animal products so on a plant-based diet, it is more of a challenge to obtain this vitamin. The lack of B12, for example, leads to fatigue, which is part of the reason I was over-indulging on coffee. B12 helps with the production of red blood cells in bone marrow and with maintaining the health of the nervous system. This vitamin helps with converting macros (carbs, fat and protein) into energy and it supports brain and heart health. Now do you see why B12 is so important?

Reason #3: We face challenges with getting Vitamin D

If you’re dealing with concerns with bone health, immune function or mood regulation, you might have a Vitamin D deficiency. No worries, a lot of us are vitamin D deficient and we don’t know it. Depending on where you live, it may be difficult to get vitamin D. Sometimes you have to be intentional about getting it. For example, you may have to take a break in the middle of the day to take a walk while the sun is out or sit out on the porch or the patio to soak in some sun rays. Let’s be honest, this isn’t always easy to do. Therefore, adding a multivitamin could be your best option.

Reason #4: Adding a liquid multivitamin is simply convenient.

While it is ideal to get nutrients from whole foods, that may not always be easy with busy lifestyles (and parenting). With a liquid vitamin, you don’t have to worry about trying to swallow a large pill that gets stuck in your throat or trying to grab water, on the way out the door,  to help you swallow it. It’s already liquid. Just drink it. Because it’s in liquid form, the body absorbs it quicker plus it can be added to drinks or smoothies easily, if you choose not to drink it by itself.

Reason #5: A multivitamin has the potential to reduce the risk of chronic illness

Before I talk more about this, please note, I am not a medical professional. Be sure to consult with your healthcare professional before making changes to your healthcare routine/products.

The adequate intake of vitamins and minerals has been associated with the reduced risk of chronic illnesses and diseases. We need certain vitamins and minerals to help our bodies function properly. Though a multivitamin can’t replace a poor diet, they can help us get the minerals and nutrients needed to prevent, and possibly fight against chronic illnesses.

If you want to start taking control of your health and close the gap between the vitamins and nutrients you eat and the ones you may be missing, purchase this liquid multivitamin today! Once I realized taking control of my health started with me, I didn’t hesitate to add these vitamins into my daily routine. And four years later, I only drink coffee for the taste, maybe 1-3 times per week, I sleep well every night, and I rarely, if ever, get sick. I’m always available for my kiddo and I can keep up with his sports schedule and my busy schedule without needing a nap midday. I also noticed I was able to finally lose the unwanted weight I’d been holding on to for years. I am 30 pounds lighter without adding in exercise (I know I need to) and without changing my diet much.

I want the same results for you! But you have to take the first step. What would your life be like if you didn’t have mounds of pills to take daily? If you were able to tackle your to-do list without the NEED for coffee and swallowing a pill the size of your hand, how would your life change? If this one purchase helped decrease your medical expenses, would it be worth it? If the answer is yes, click here.
